just a quick question.....does your scrum half brown ever score any tries ? He has to be one of the lowest try scoring halves in the championships according to stats. Is he only on the field to kick the ball ?
When you look at other clubs and the likes of Handforth, Thackray, Brambini, Moore, Black, Rooney, Finn, Briggs, Ridyard, Thorman, March, Jones etc they all get their fair share of tries every season, some being into double figures, but brown never appears to ???

Do scrum halves have to score when you have plenty of others quite capable of scoring? If he does his job of feeding the ball to the centres, wings, forwards and gains field position then that surely is just as important as being the last man with the ball.

Look at other teams and the strike rate of tries scored by props, 2nd rows etc...... are they just there as battering rams, or part of a TEAM effort?

Pressley for York got six tries on Sunday, he could have scored a few more but he passed to other players, does that make him wrong?, I think it makes him a team player and after all rugby is a team game.

I watched him a lot as a junior and could never understand why Leeds snapped him up. He seemed to kick on every occasion. Always thought he would be better suited to Rugby Union. Time will tell I suppose he's only a young lad.
