Come to the game early on Sunday 13th March, when the Batley All Stars are playing Batley Boys in a curtain raiser before the Dewsbury Game, kicking off at 12:45pm. The man in the middle is Billy Blunden.

K2 who are main sponsors for the Batley All Star Team provides premier mechanical and electrical contracting and maintenance for public sector and private customers in commercial and industrial markets. Their activities include design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems.

Lee played with Batley Bulldogs in the 2006-2007 season and is delighted to be returning to Mount Pleasant to face Batley Boys on Sunday 13th March.

The Batley team also includes Chairman Kevin Nicholas, Community Coach Dan Winner and General Manager Paul Harrison, former players Gary Shillabeer, Ben Kerr, Leigh Grogan and Kevin Doyle. Vince Kerr former main sponsor with the club also plays along with former G.B. star Chris Burton.

Surely we could have got more former 'stars' to play for a Batley All-Stars side. Obviously local lads like Gibbo, Dean Lawford etc...
I'm sure it would have created a lot of interest. Just a suggestion.
