Should be a brilliant afternoon and lets hope it gets the support it deserves.

Just remember to tell Nigel that when he kicks off he can have a kicking tee and not to dig a huge hole.

No, unfortunately he is working that evening (Rhinos v Saints), but has promised to plug the game for us on SKY and sends his best wishes to all!

Good to see some of my old (and that's literal now, unfortunately) mates are going to be there (Alan and John Bates) even if Mick can't make it.
Let's not forget that they were pretty famous in the 70's too, as they both toured, together with Mick Stephenson, Australia with the GB team. Only the fact that he was in contention with Steve Nash, kept Acker out of the Test team. I remember that John suffered a bad injury on the tour, which sadly, effectively put an end to his playing career. Hope y'all give them a big cheer.

Thats an absolutely tremendous line-up - some real Dewsbury legends in there. Sadly, our own 'all-stars' game is a total farce. Wish the people who organised it at our club had gone to so much effort to recruit some actual former players, as I might have shown an iota of interest.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?
