Can't agree with that petition. Firstly it is too unfocussed. It should have been about one issue at a time and personally i would have picked on eligibility for SoO, just because the idea that it remains a selection game for the Kangas is archaic. But i have no issue with players qualifying from residency or grandparents. That is standard in almost all sports AFAIK.
The other seperate issue is the swopping but all i would want to see is that you have to stick to a nation for at least five years. I see nothin wrong with a top drawer player helpng out the developing nations later in their career. The problem is the nonsense Brough has put us through, not someone like Masri laying for Lebanon or even big Willie genuinely helping out Tonga rather then abusing the quota system.
