The other 10 should be good though. I guess they should have had higher entry standards, but I prefer teams to drop out now than clubs dragging it out when they're not up to it or dropping out midseason. This Comp struggles struggles to Gain peoples respect as it is without teams dropping out every year??

It's supposed to be the last year of the league though with all the 2012 changes, I just hope everyone gets somewhere decent to play next year

Hope your right but me thinks 2012 will be the death of a few clubs from this comp

Maybe if they're reliant on winter players. Though Kippax, Underbank, Fev Lions and Dewsbury Celtic have winter sides at least so the club won't fold at least whatever happens to this specific team.Hope your right but me thinks 2012 will be the death of a few clubs from this comp
I'd guess Bramley and Wizards have enough of their own players to be alright but I don't know. As for where they'll play though I haven't got a clue.
The other clubs will have Southern Conference unless they want to step up to C1

There are a few strong teams in this competition. But a few let the rest down

Go to about the 2nd story down about the RLCN and see what club is missing from the lineup. Can't say I'm surprised it was never a convincing plan. Hope the other 10 clubs are still strong and the worrying rumours about one club turn out to be misplaced.

Lets hope you are right...their PR bandwaggon is working overtime to quash people like myselfs fears but to be honest it only adds to them!People are spreading rumours about Bramley but I'm inclined to believe they'll get a team out unless I hear otherwise as people said this sort of thing last year.
Hopefully they will get a side on the field this year but will it be competative like the team of old?

I'm hoping and expecting their PR overtime (plus perhaps more importantly their high profile name) will get them a team out, even if not a title winning one. Though things usually pick up when the winter season finishes. 2012 when clubs start to switch to summer will be interesting, though I'm not really sure what will happen if I'm honest, not even sure what league they'll have to play in.Lets hope you are right...their PR bandwaggon is working overtime to quash people like myselfs fears but to be honest it only adds to them!

Though to be honest it's hard to tell til the season starts so I hope they'll be alright

Even the Nat Conf in the winter game struggles at times with clubs failing to see seasons out e.g. St Maries this year and the geographical spread is not as wide.
I'd love to see a truly National Competition but there is a big difference between pins in a map a long term competitive set of teams from across the nation.

Maybe its the ambitious nature of the National League that is the problem. Some of the distances involved are pretty horrendous. Maybe a North and South Conference with the cream of the Midland clubs in with the London ones and whoever feel able to step up.
That is what's supposed to be happening next year. In theory we could have a Southern league that looks like this:
Nottingham
Coventry
Leicester
Northampton
Hemel
St Albans
Bristol
Valley Cougars
Wests
Souths
Which to me looks like a very good league indeed.

Next year if plans work out the NCL will switch to summer as the Northern Conference (or National North depending on what diagram you read) and a Southern Conference (or National South?) for the best midlands and south clubs.
The two issues to make this more complicated are the RFL are hoping some clubs step up to Championship 1 and there's no obvious place for clubs like Bramley and Warrington Wizards to play in the new structure (perhaps the NW and NE Conferences below the Northern one assuming enough winter clubs of the right standard switch to summer or something like that)
None of this affects Bramley though and seems to be connected to an increased reliance on winter players and overlapping seasons (this will be more an issue when clubs switch from winter)

Someone from Bramley was on the BBC West Yorks RL podcast saying pretty much that. They expect to get a load from Milford/Queens when that season finishesNone of this affects Bramley though and seems to be connected to an increased reliance on winter players and overlapping seasons (this will be more an issue when clubs switch from winter)

Dont bank in it.
I dont think any players will leave Milford or Queens until their season is over which is after Bramleys season starts,
A lot of the players also had an allegence to Mark Butterill who left under strange circumstances, ie non payment of his contract.
