I thought the AMNRL/TOmahawks eligibility requirements ruled him out though? Since they are not eligible to play in another league competition. Or did I read it wrong?

Basically pope will have to register as a 'player at large' (i.e some made up bollix pulled from Niu's ass) and would not be eligible to continue playing for the Axeman. He can't be banned for having been part of the axemen in the past and the axemen have not created their USARL team roster as of yet and the USARL has not started to play.

That's a very measured and restrained statement from the Axemen - kudos to them, even though I'm pretty disgusted it's a situation they have to address at all.
