I know Walshy does the RU matches locally but why are we getting all the updates from Twickers. Didn't like to hear Crearey saying Town looked tired after 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Conceeded two tries in two minutes in the second half for two weeks in a row! That worrying 2nd half trend from last season is carrying on then!

Listening to the radio it sounds like it was tight 1st half with their completions being the difference, but we were all over them for big parts of the 2nd half. Be interesting to see how the coaches feel after a good performance where we once again seem to be our own worst enemy at times. Once again it sounds like Holt could have made significant impact on the game though, we need him quick sharp.

It sounded to me like this was another game that we could have won with a little bit more composure. Holty won't be with us until near the end of April, another 5 or 6 games including Good Friday's clash with Haven and maybe Keighley away on Easter Monday, so we have got to sort it out on the field.

Still, I'm sure we would have all settled for a bonus point before the game and hopefully we can make up for it at home to Oldham next week.

Just got back from Swinton, Town played really well and deserved the bonus point, both defenses very good, few soft mistakes, Swinton 2nd try in the 2nd half was as real joy to watch, first class and would have been scored against any team in the league, Town 2nd try was right out of the top drawer, 80mtrs at pace and good support, before the match I would certainly have settled for a bonus, as not many teams will even get that at Swinton this season, but i am a touch disapointed we didn't get a draw. Two very good teams and played in excellent spirit, hard but fair, reasonablly refereed as well, good day out now looking forward to some home games.

Just got back played well and dug in deep to come away with a well deserved bonus point, in years gone by once they scored those quick two tries in a row Town teams of previous yrs would have ended up conceding another two or three no doubt but we didnt and were able to get a bonus with a great 80yrd try. Thought tutty did well for his first game only two penalties given away aswell by him we just need to calm down thats all we make great yrds and then throw a stupid pass out when we need to take the tackle. Thought Patrick played well as did Olstrum once again and the usual great performances from Stacky & Matty. Next week is a big game if we can pick up a win against Oldham & have 4pts from 2 games we will have made a great start, because I cant see many sides coming away from Swinton this season with points

Top effort from both sides today. Not the most attractive rugby at times, but none the less i would consider both teams to be in the top 3/4. Thought at Half time we would run away with it in the 2nd half, judging by last week with you boys at Rochdale, but full credit to Town. Tough, gritty, and some good rugby. Thought Low was a good'en for you, as was the majority of left side attack.
