Was just flicking through my Twitter and noticed that I follow an official Hornets feed that hasn't been used or tweeted from since June 2009. Is there any plans to reinstate this? It has 504 followers, could be a useful way of drumming up new members/just sending out positive info about the club?

I'd been wondering about that too, seems like a resourse that should be used, it's free and easy to use, accessing it via mobile phone to post game progress during a match, try scorers, and stuff

So does anyone know who runs it or has access to it? Strikes me as a really simple way to keep in touch with 504 people, there's loads of other rugby league teams, players and journalists on there...

Agree, I'm an Twitter addict and it's great for us out of town fans to keep up to date with the haps. It would be great to see the updates from the ground and the general news and events at the Hornets.

I've just registered on Twitter but don't really know much about it, I'm fairly new on Facebook as well. So if anyone wants to send me some Tweets and give me some advice I'd be glad to hear from you.
Once I'm in the know I'll offer to update the Hornets page or whatever you do to it!

Apparently the person who set it up is on holiday so when they get back they will be looking at utilising it for this season...good to see, it may be able to round up some more support and let people know all the good work the new set up does

Most clubs that I follow on Twitter, both here in Oz and in the UK, have the scores updated during the games via mobiles which can be good but in the case of the Quins getting smacked by Wire it can be a little dull!
