A must win game if we are to establish ourselves as genuine contenders and entice the crowds back to DP.

I believe. Town 32 - Oldham 16
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

We set ourselves up nicely with a bonus last week, a win and a bonus from those two games would be just the job.
Crime can't crack itself eh Derwent.

Yes, 4 points from possibly the 2 toughest teams in the league would be a very decent start.
And yes, Phil & Nige are superb !

The fine drizzling rain that we have will cause a few dropped balls today. I believe it is due to fair up a bit around 4pm but the plus side is that there isn't much of a breeze.

This is a massive game for us, we have another tough away game next week so we could do with the points today. Heart says Town 28 Oldham 24. Pity about the foul weather, anyone thinking about giving Town another go might just be swayed to stay home and watch the football. pity
UP THE TOWN.
UP THE TOWN.

You just knocked 2 of my scores (32 - 16) to win. Great win and great performance to go with it.
