Before the message board got wiped Anita there was some disagrement on what the average attendances were at Spotland.

From memory I think I stated that 2010 average was about 620 and 2009 average was around 670 and that both these seasons average attendances were higher than the average atendance of the last season of the "Old" Hornets. You countered quoting from a reference source (that I can not now remember) giving average attendances for these two seasons of less than 600 per season. Any chance that you could just refresh my memory on the figures and the source.

I was going to reply at the time but couldn't remember/find where I'd read the figures and then the board was wiped clean, however I've just come across the stats I was quoting from.

They are here http://championshipo...om/Seasons.html

The Gilette rugby league yearbook gives the average attendences for 2009 and 2010 as 637 and 567 respectively. These figures exclude attendences for challenge cup games.

Thanks for that AB.

I suspect the figures I read and quoted are for the Championship 1 matches only and those from the year book include Northern Rail Fixtures.
