1 Heaton
2 Onyango
3 Brocklehurst
4 Bradbury
5 Robinson
6 Clough
7 Diveney
8 Boults
9 Scott Mansfield
10 Clarke
11 Wood
12 Isherwood
13 Noone

14 Sutton (if fit or Ellison)
15 Wood-Hulme (if fit or Gilchrist)
16 Whitmore
17 Bentley

Rats is definitely out and I think Whitmore is an out and out Hooker where as Clough has the demeanour, the temperament and he also seems to be on the wavelength of a half back. I'd bring Mansfield back in and rest Dogger (he's struggling with his hamstring)and get him concentrating on the fitness of the players. I would like to see Noone at Loose and have him play all game, and then I'd fill the bench with big forwards. My Prop forwards if fit would be Boults, Clarke, Sutton, Wood-Hulme and Ellison. And the extra one would be on the bench at the expense of Valu, as Clarky can double up in the second row. The backs would also be covered as Wood can play in the centres.

That's me done and my reasons.

I agree with Tony's backs and back row. I'd rather have Whitmore at stand off than Clough and M.Roden would be in my team just for experience and tackling although I do understand his reasoning for wanting Mansfield in the the team. Ellison definitely wouldn't be in my team in front of Gilchrist or Wood-Hulme

My team: Heaton,Lucas,Brocky,Bradbury,Robinson,Whitmore,Diveney,Clarke,M.Roden,Sutton,Wood,Isherwood,Noone. Subs:Clough,Boults,Wood-Hulme,Bentley/Gilchrist.

Hi Brooksy

The reason behind playing Mansfield was that Dogger is supposedly struggling with a hamstring injury but if he was fully fit then he'd probably get the nod over Scott. It was a difficult decision between Elly & Gilchrist. Thought Gilchrist had a stormer against Gateshead but struggled against Swinton, as did Elly. Went with Elly on experience but wouldn't fall out with you over either at the moment. I would still like to see what Cloughy could do at Halfback though - think he could be a revelation. I would also like to see the club bring in a proven Halfback and a big mobile Prop aswell. But who knows, maybe they're in the pipeline. Or maybe we are going to try something very different this year which has worked for other clubs in the past. Keep a small playing squad which isn't costing the earth and get into the play-offs. Then as we get to the business end of the season recruit a couple of stand out players and win the Grand Final. Sounds like a plan eh?

I'm a big fan of Mansfield and think he is going to be a cracking player for us so I wouldn't mid him getting in the team what so ever.

I think the club has made it pretty clear they want new signings and I expect to see at least one by the next home games against London.

For me we need two and they are a recognised Halfback and a big mobile prop in the mould of Tonksy
