He may behave like a prat sometimes but he showed some of his true class tonight when Wigan were under tremendous pressure.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen
The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

He may behave like a prat, but does that make it open season for everybody to have a swing at him?Yep, golden boy is definitely a w****r as sung by the south standers, after all after scoring a brilliant individual try, making the break that set up the position for the final kick from out wide, which he kicked nonchalantly to draw the game, he did drop one ball.

That clown Westwood last week, and Senior, Cross and virtually every other Leeds player tonight.
I used to think Cross was a player with a load of potential. Big, strong and aggressive. Now I think he is rubbish.

He was very poor against Saints the other week as well.
As for Tomkins, as much as I dislike him purely for being a Wiganer, he is an exceptional player. I do enjoy watching him play, unless he is playing against Saints of course.

And I tend to agree that he could soon get a serious injury if he doesn't get some protection from the referees, who to be fair he also winds up.

he did drop one ball.
Remember two.
Certainly looked suspect when the ball was up in the air.
Seemed too busy concentrating on getting his boot in the air to defend himself.
Pretty useful when he does catch hold of it though.

frequently watched other catchable kicks bounce
Examples, he missed one, as I said, another was a debatable under pressure but Leeds were offside anyway (also known aas cheating). Leting a ball bounce when you have little chance of catching it is a good option, now show me when and where it was an option and he didn't take it.

We are spoiled by this quality in superleague and shouldn't take it for granted. This nonsense about Sam Tomkins' petulence is a sideshow. The man is pure class.

Just like when everyone used to say that Offiah couldn't tackle. Who gives a sh]t?In the last 20 he was great but on tonights evidence he doesn't cope with high balls to well, ballsed one up completely and frequently watched other catchable kicks bounce. I'd play him in the halves every time.
The guy is still only 21 years old. He has scored 50 tries already for Wigan, and has a whole load of improving to do.
If he can continue to develop as he has so far, he will be a great player. At the moment, he is an inexperienced young kid.

I can't think of specific examples but on at least 2 or 3 occasions he could have made up the ground to catch the ball and didn't, and I'm sorry but letting a rugby ball bounce is rarely ever a good option. I'm not hateing on the guy I just don't think he's as good a fullback as he is a stand off.

strangely enough I don't coach any SL side but then niether do you so I guess that makes us even. Jeez aggro for suggesting a player might be better off playing in the position he's played in most his life.

My reply may be a lttle over agressive, but the point remains.
People thought Graham Lowe was mad when he moved Hanley to loose forward.
*I'll qualify that, a coach of Mcguries quality may be better placed.

No doubt he is better placed as are most Wigan fans who see him every week my thaughts are based on tonights performance. As long as he can produce some performances like tonight (ball in hand) against the Aussies I don't give a stuff what position he plays in. Can we be friends now?

No it's not. One day he will kick someone in the face whilst frustrated about something going wrong and then it will be unavoidable. Talented he may be but he needs to get this aspect of his game in check or it will cost him big time.We are spoiled by this quality in superleague and shouldn't take it for granted. During he game between Wigan and Warrington last week, Adrian Morley twice kicked out and very nearly connected with a Wigan players head. You can watch it back, and the evidence is there for you to see.No it's not. One day he will kick someone in the face whilst frustrated about something going wrong and then it will be unavoidable. Talented he may be but he needs to get this aspect of his game in check or it will cost him big time.
I await your condemnation of Morley, and your description of him as a petulant child.
