Attention all Lions fans!! Don't forget the supporters' night at Clifton Crickrt Club this coming Thursday, 7th April. You never know, there may be some good news for us all on one or two important subjects. The following statement appears on the club's website tagged onto the end of the reminder about returning raffle tickets and may well be overlooked by some fans.

"NEXT Thursday 7th April there will be a supporters' get together at Clifton Cricket Club.
Coach Steve McCormack will give a talk on the progress so far this season and all the players will be in attendance.

There will also be a quiz and a chance to socialise with the players."

Sounds like a reet good neet!

So where were you all ?. A good evening had by all and a good quiz from Spelly and question & answer session from Steve McCormack plus he announced the signing of another player. Scottish International Lee Paterson has joined the club. He played for Steve during his time at Widnes and can play in All back row positions plus Stand Off and Centre positions so a useful signing. Get down to the Willows on Saturday and give the lads a cheer.

Hi Paul
Probably about 30 fans but the players doubled the crowd and the quiz was a good laugh and the winning team was made up from : Neil Holland, Dean Thompson, Sam Reay and Karl Ashall.

No mention of Agecroft .

The perils of being a shift worker im afraid but thanks for the report Riggy. So glad the game has been switched to Saturday night as I am working Sunday and it would have been a non attendance from me.
