In a word, FANTASTIC!!!!!
It would be unfair to say anything more about individual performances before saying that on the day every single player did the business. Apart from a couple of freak tries Doncaster were limited to a few half-breaks whist Hornets steadily built their platform to take the points. In the final analysis, we bombed about three scoring efforts before we troubled the scoreboard operator and at that time we were four down after McHugh dropped the ball in going over at the other end. Doncaster ripped upfield and found us out of position and Green cantered over.
After that Hornets rolled up their sleeves and gradually fought their way into the game. Andy Saywell scored another brace and McHugh got one with Liam McGovern I think kicking the extras to two of them.
Half-time 4-16.
Doncaster came out with a stinging rebuke in their lugholes I think as they ripped into us but Hornets weren't for giving this game away. We weathered the storm and started to produce some more attacks ourselves. Doncaster's mistakes continued and we got another try under the balck dot and Liam kicked a couple of field goals and somewhere in between Wayne English fumbled a kick and they scrambled anothe four pointer.
The Dons' fans were now busy shouting for anything and everything at every opportunity and didn't like it when they were reduced to 12 with red card.
So the 1-4 bookies favouites came crashing down to Earth and Stanky must be a very proud man tonight and he and the lads deserve all the credit they get.
A job very well done!!!

Outstanding Hornets! The first time we have won at the Keepmoat.Great defence and an oustanding kicking game.Thought Mr Leatherbarrow who seems to have abandoned his previous tendency to award a great many penalties, was outstanding. Let the game flow, ignored the crowd, and did'nt bottle the sending off.A very sweet win.

Jamie Bovill (Doncaster) sent off for leading with the elbow, and very deserved.
Much, much better defence. Magnificent.
