Of the following NRL players, who do you consider to be the top 5 in the NRL?

The answers you provide i will use to "select" the 5 players i will use to create a performance benchmark for a second row forward at uni.I have my owy opinion of who the top 5 are, but i need an objective opinion, instead of my own subjective one.

Thanks

Sam Thiaday (Broncos)
Matt Gilett (Broncos)
Andrew Ryan (Bulldogs)
Frank Pritchard (Bulldogs)
Ben Creagh (Dragons)
Nathan Hindmarsh (Eels)
Zeb Taia (Knights)
Trent Waterhouse (Panthers)

Dave Taylor (Rabbitohs)
Nate Myles(Roosters)
Anthony Watmough (Sea Eagles)
Paul Gallen (Sharks)
Gareth Ellis (Tigers)

Well here's my subjective thoughts:
Second rowers -
I've tried to avoid those who are playing at loose forward (lock).

Anthony Tupou - can burst through a brick wall and knows how to offload.
Luke Lewis (now out for 6 weeks) - dominates and is on the pitch longer than most
Zeb Taia - rough and tough bloke who knows where the try line is
Ben Creagh - tough bloke who runs as well
Sam Burgess - OK not played since Round 1 but catches the eye in every game - strong fast and creative (for a forward!)

After naming them I think I could change that list time and time again.
They were my first thoughts.
I'll stick with them until folk come up with other ideas I'd wish I'd had.

Thought Sam Thaiday had a good game at the weekend - very impressive.
Interesting to see both Burgess and Ellis returning to their respective sides against each other in R5.
I thought Ellis had the better of the two performances.

Thaiday
Burgess
Creagh
Lewis
Ellis

(Paul Gallen is one of my favourite players and id select him if he played there)

Think Taylor has the potential to be class, has everything but just doesn't perform often enough.
Jeremy Smith deserve a mention?
