Is this being promoted outside of the rugby? Flyers in schools, and Co-op stores for example?

Was it just me or was there a distinct lack of children at the game yesterday? I caught sight of the "kids for free" advert in a couple of places but that was probably because I read a lot of the rugby league media i.e. Hornets Website, Hornets Facebook, League Express... For people not in the RL circle i dont think i caught sight of anything.

Have the community development officers been armed with flyers/posters etc.. Surely their visits to the local schools and taster sessions would be the ideal opportunity to advertise.

I'm pretty sure our two communities people will have been informing schools etc but it may be the 'with an adult' that pees on the chips.

Last season the club had a big event for the presentation to the kids schools thingy and there were loads of them. The only point was that after they got their awards at half time they all 'did one' and missed the second half of Hornets beating Hunslet at home!!!

You can take a horse to water, and all that!
