Raising money for Prostate Cancer UK - ran the Spire 10 mile in August and the Worksop Half Marathon in October - more to come in 2013

It never was a difficult concept really - you teach the youngsters the game, coach them, feed their enthusiasm, provide the playing opportunities and some of them will make it to the professional game. Expensive and time- and resource-consuming, but not difficult.

The next step - and implementation seems to be on the agenda - is to constantly improve the standard of game available throughout the country, both for those developing youngsters hoping to make it at the top level, and for those whose ambition is merely to reach their full potential.

Well done to all those involved!

The main aims are IMO to have at least one Championship 1 and a Conference Youth League side in each developing region. Below that you want a league or two of NCL standard expansion clubs then local league adults and juniors. Long run they seem to be aiming at several cluster clubs per city which is promising
