I would be playing our strongest side available, we haven't been great away from home, and a convincing win will boost spirits before the jameater game. I would start holt and finch at half backs though, and if they do well I would be tempted to start them against haven

I dont think Holty will be available until the Easter Monday game as Furness play their last game at Zebras on Easter Saturday.

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

No Mattinson, Stack or Carter and have you got Fraser at full-back ? Haven't they all just had a week off ? Shouldn't be any need to rest them and risk a slip-up. No keep the momentum going.

Totally agree, I can't see any logic in resting your main players. What if we got beat by Gateshead? Then that's a massive 3 points dropped and it's like saying the haven game should take priority over all others. No you take each game as it comes and if players are injured for the jams then we will have to deal with it like any other. Gateshead will probably a more difficult game anyhow hahaha

We can't afford to rest anybody which is a pity because I would wrap Matty and Stack up in cotton wool leading up to Good Friday. Gateshead have improved since we tonked them in the NRC, they were beating Swinton the other week at half time !!!!. We neen a convincing win on Sunday to lift the spirits and confidence before we play the council rates pinching, tax and trophy dodgers from down the road.

Totally agree but neither half backs kicking game is anywhere near good enough and don't really control the game. I think there's no reason why holt and finch should not be given a shot. Although in our strongest side I would play kaighan and holt

I would not play Kaighan and Holt Mark Bainbridge and Kaighan have been awesome so far this season maybe have holt on the beach for a couple of games and bring him of the beach cause holt can change the game.

Have you seen either of there in game kicking? You can not tell me that it is good, in fact it's poor at best. Plus holty will take the pressure off kaighan. Bamber has impressed me with his defence but dosent offer a great deal offensively, good squad player and for the odd game or 2 but against the likes of haven, swinton and keighley we need a creater and a controller, unfortunately barber is neither
