I went to watch my local team,Tweed Heads Seagulls, play Mackay Cutters in the Queensland Cup last week and as a request from Mad Mal,sought out Janan Billings who was on the bench for the visitors. I wore my Hornets shirt as I didn`t know what Billings looked like and thought he`d recognise the jersey, but in doing so,met up with Paul Rolls (I`ve never met him) who was there watching the action. He must live in Tweed, but I don`t think he`s playing now. Anyway I had a good chat with him and later met up with Billings, who I took a photo of. They both send their best wishes to everybody at Hornets and hope the team has a good season. Tweed won by the way,46-20!

Send the photo as a JPEG and I'll put it in the programme for you. Only £2 and I'll pay the postage!!!

Am having a few problems sending a copy to Mal,for some reason it won`t downsize and says it`s too big to send, but have got the brains (the wife) onto it,so Mal will hopefully have a copy when he gets up this morning. I`m sure he`ll know how to send a JPEG and you`ll be able to insert it into one of the programmes. Great win on Sunday, hope the lads can keep it going against Keighley. All the best from Northern Rivers,NSW. Diddy Dave.
