Yes, I was waiting for this. The performance by Souths at the weekend made me think along those lines.
He's not bringing out the best in them or inspiring confidence. He always looks nervous to me. (Have I really just said that?)

After watching that really strange Bunnies v Dragons game maybe Wesser & Talanoa have caught the clueless germ from Lang

It was a shame a couple of errors from Bunnies players counted so heavily against their team and the match result.
Rabbitohs were superb for 3/4 of the game.
I enjoyed watching the game and would not have been surprised of Bunnies hadn't taken the spoils here the way their forwards were performing in the first half.
Still it's an 80 minute game.

For such a low scoring game it was very entertaining. Talanoa had a mare though.

Where were Nathan Merrit and Nathan Fien? I missed the start so wonder were they injured before the game during the game or just omitted from the line up.

Wesser, Talanoa dropped by South Sydney
Pretty sure Merritt played ? Think Fien was out injured match stats

Is it just me or does GI appear to be morphing into a 2nd rower,(heavy on defence) ?

Yes, that's what I've been thinking. He's having the kind of career that Ellery Cuthwyn Hanley MBE had from spindly kid to solid experienced player. Trouble is Ellery took nigh on 30 years to go from one to the other, not three or four as appears to be the case for Greg.

Rabbitohs raised their game in R6, but I still wonder about their overall level of fitness.
