Really good news, Thompson has been a revelation at centre and Holland has shown he has what it takes with some solid performances.

Dean Thompson = Best centre in Championship One. Definitely a player the Lions need to retain if promotion is secured.

Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

The stats would show that is in fact Gavin Dodd.

Ha Ha. Provided you're blind to what happens when the other team has got the ball. Might be interesting to see how many tries have been let in down the side of the pitch Dodd is defending.

Reasons for your harsh comments?

Being the league's top try scorer in your position is one thing, being the all round best player in that position is another.

Dodd is a star, and Phil your comments about Mort are based on statistics. For me Dodd and Thompson are both really good players and the best centre partnership we`ve seen seen since Veikoso and Craig. Pity for Reay really because he does not deserve to miss out.

Thompson has played in 2 league games this season (through no fault of his own), to label him the best in the division after so few performances seems very premature. I think you're opinion of Dodd may have been different if you had seen him against Oldham at Whitebank, he was a class act, all-round. Plus he has been by far the most consistent centre in the squad so far.
