Hornets were not at the races yesterday at all and Oldham took their chances well.

A let down for Hornets after a couple of good wins leading into their local derby. Oldham have struggled half back wise recently, which seems to have been a major contributor to their drop off in form for a month or so. Neil Roden was back and perhaps his return from injury along with Carl Forber's arrival might give them a boost.

The spread of results recently across the league underlines how difficult it can be to achieve consistently good performances at this level.
Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

Skolars should have won but didn't know how to, they crossed the try line about ten times, three times they scored the others they were either held up or dropped the ball including one in the last minute.

They should get their first win of the season tomorrow at home against Gateshead though. Good luck to the Skolars.
