Greetings Roughyeds....

Question... How can we play like a bunch of strangers one week, then play like we did on Friday???

Any suggestions people?
Any similarity to Queens English is purely coincidental.

I think it's a lot of little things that when added together makes a huge difference in performances and results. Having Roden back is a big boost but we still got battered at Worky with Ratty in the team so it's not solely down to Neil. Forber gave us a bit more composure and organisation than Mick does at the minute and I felt this meant that Ratty had no pressure on him to try and do everything and he could just play his natural game. The signing of Stenchion has toughened up the centre of the park a lot and having the other Luke back was a big bonus as he is a very good prop. Ellison's performances in the last two games have been the biggest difference in my eyes. Against Swinton and Keighley he was just too soft in defence for a prop and I felt it might have been down to missing some training sessions and not being a 100% ready for a game. According to Elly the two weeks before the London game we had done a lot of extra work which has clearly helped him and the rest of the team in terms of fitness but also mentally.

Tomorrows game will shows us how far the last two games have taken us as a team. Haven are unbeaten(I think) and look to be a very good team who beat us comfortably in the NRC and provide us with a great test.

With your tail between your legs?

Again.

When was the last time you beat us in a meaningful game? I honestly can't remember...

Tell you what, you just make comments about OUR ground, we'll just keep kicking your asses

But its not your ground any more than Spotland is ours

Apparently after the jolly knees up at Buck House, Phil the Greek and Princess Horse drank their own family weight in gin. Lizzy needs to balance the books to pay for the bar bill so is looking to sell Whitebank at a discount to hurry the deal through.
