Really excellent for the biggest part of the game today, then the team seemed to take their foot off the gas and the tries started to trickle in and from looking like we'd hammered 'em they looked like they were in the game and they weren't.
Still, we mustn't moan when we win so well done lads, just give us another next week at Workington.
Pugwash.

It was a much improved performance but we did wilt towards the end of the second half and ship in two or three needless tries. I think that fatigue in 11 of yesterday's team that played in both games was a big factor considering the hot conditions? However next week the Worky game will be a completely different test for us as the Cumbrians don't like anyone taking points away from their patch!

Yeh thats right Mal, the lads did visibly wilt in the heat and playing games so close together.
It makes you wonder if it really is a good idea to have part-time players taking in two games over the easter period.
Surely one derby game is just right both for the players and the spectators at easter.
It was also apparent that some fans were away on holiday so it doesnt help the coffers either.

Some clubs didn't play twice and that should be addressed, if one plays twice then all should to avoid favouring some clubs over others.
