Just been talking to a Doncaster Toll Bar player who told me that they don't start their games in the summer until June because a few teams have dropped out already.

Guiseley Rangers and East Leeds have dropped out.

I noted in a recent thread that lindley swifts had also entered the summer league. Their pennine league commitments don't finish until 28th may. So they too will not start playing until June. Unless they do a Kippax and withdraw from the pennine league?

They're lucky clubs dropping out means they don't have to make that decision as there's 4 fewer fixtures allowing a later start.
