to restart their rugby league team, i coached these kids a couple of years ago and they were really falling into shape showing great potential until the recession arrived giving me less time to continue with them.These same lads have recently done themselves and the Thorne area proud by winning the South Yorkshire rugby union cup.

I would also like to add that Thorne Academy is a very strict school and at lease another 5 lads were mot allowed to play for disciplinary reason.
