We are looking for a game this weekend following the withdrawal of Barnsley from the merit league, prefferably at Scunthorpe as food etc has been on order. We would be more than willing to travel on another free week we have.

Give us a couple of weeks mate and i'm sure we will give you a game, I suppose you could be seeing a lot of this happening in the merit now that the powers of authority have decided to make it a fully structured division.

I agree by the way with your earlier point, by the 2nd half of the season only 5 clubs were playing games IIRC

We will need to see who turns up for us, Toll Bar playing in the summer has taken a good few players that we normally have for the summer and the season we decided to sit out the winter has also taken a few regular players to other clubs.

It's not us, Jim. We've got about 6 players so it's not looking good.

Could quite easily see this league having to fold, our game vs south humber was called off due to our clubhouse being hired out for a wedding but we're getting plenty of playing staff (from scunthorpe aswell) i know Barton had to pull out of their game not sure if this was due to playing staff but if so doesn't bode well does it?!?!?
