I'm paying the price for our great season so far - I have planned my retirement around our fixture list, fitting in frequent visits to Cornwall. I recognised both the matches against Whitehaven away and Oldham at home as significant and 'must see' and scheduled a visit between these dates, but after the fantastic win at Dewsbury up pops the Warrington game - tried to juggle dates but only option is to cancel completely but do need to go - gutted. But I am confident you will all be there in massive numbers to cheer the lads on and have a great night - I will shout from Cornwall.
p.s. I was flicking through my old programmes and came up with this one - virtually 48 years ago to the date on Saturday May 28th 1963 we played Warrington away at the old Wilderspool Stadium, we needed to get a point to win the First Division Championship - needles to say as we know we won 6 - 4 great memories, but the lads this season are doing the same

However that is a great story proving that miracles can and sometimes do happen.
Common lads do us proud and get us into the quarter finals, that said I am proud to be a Lions fan whatever they do.

You sound like someone from my era. The '60s, what a magical time to be a Lions fan.

Yes Blue Monkey, definitely from your era - 63 was my greatest year - met the wife, met the Beatles but most important we were the best team in rugby league - but this season is a great time to be a lions fan.
