Ulverston 'A' 32 v Walney 'A' 12 (ht 18-

A deserved win for Ulverston who capitalised on Walney ill disicpline and lack of ability to complete their sets of 6. After Walney took an early 6-0 Ulverston hit back to lead 18-8 at ht and never really looked like loosing it in the 2nd half.

Round II take place next saturday in the top four final.

been talking to a couple of ulverston and they say Ulverston A! MAY HAVE BEEN A BIT NAUGHTY REGARDING THEIR TEAM SELECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i spoke to an Ulverston lad last wek and he said Ulverston A hadnt lost a BnD League game and were lookiong good for the cup finals, if this is the case why did they Play First team lads? Have they had first team lads backing up all season or ave lads been dropped for the final.

This aint a critisism in any way im just interested.

Well personally, i usually play first team but have missed the last 3 months due to injury so i've been playing to get a bit of fitness back!
I was away at the time, but from what i was told when we played Askam the other week we had 1st teamers eager to play but there wasn't room for them!

Since we've had a few drop out for varying reasons, few working, few away, weddings, cricket etc etc.

going to ignore One post, Cheers Higgy lad were a bit busted may get 14 or 15 together for tonight defo missing fullback both centres and one winger my ribs are done in but i will have a go maybe get a few back for Saturday and hopefully not pick up anymore knocks.
