Full time. 40-20 loss
I know we have a lot of injury problems but that is shocking.

Another nail in the coffin in an absolutely dead season! That result today is worse than London Skolars achieved (20-18) This club and team is an absolute joke. Roll on the end of the season.

i know its been banged on to death about living within our means and getting stability for the club but if we cant even compete on the field we need to at least start showing progress off it, the club is currently treading water in a time when fans need more incentives than blind loyalty to part with cash.

Scorpions sting Roughyeds
South Wales Scorpions saw off Oldham with a comprehensive 40-20 victory in the Co-operative Championship 1.
Steve Parry scored first for the hosts after six minutes, with Jamie Murphy converting. John Clough responded for the Roughyeds by crossing over and allowing Carl Forber to kick the extras.
The Scorpions were ahead again when Neil Dallimore crossed, Murphy duly converting, and the visitors missed an opportunity to level the scores when Michael Fogarty's 28th-minute try went unconverted.
The hosts went on a rampage, Murphy converting his own try and Casey Bromilow crossing before the break.
Curtis Cunningham made it 28-10 in the 54th minute as Bromilow converted his try.
Bromilow would kick the extras from tries by Andrew Gay and Loz Wildbore to set up a formidable 40-10 lead going into the final five minutes.
Shaun Robinson and Ben Heaton would both go over for Oldham in the final minutes, Forber converting the last try, but it was too late for the Lancashire side.

Very poor result
I can't think when we've ever been at a lower point
Something must change

The result is very disappointing but don't forget they beat us at home last season 42 to 24 at home......and last season we had a better team.....

My appreciation to the Roughyed fans who came down to Caerffili today. Finally ! a win to show for our vast improvements in attack particularly the slick passing game along the wings and the hard yards and position gained from within our own 10m by Murphy making it happen.Your Oldham side was a somewhat depleted shdaow from the previous year's performance, the physical presence of Onayango missing maybe quite telling??
One of your fans asked about getting a badge? we should have a delivery of the new kit and other merchandise in the coming fortnight to the shop in Neath so If they want to send a PM I might be able to sort it out.
