The away standing isn't open but it's cheaper to buy your tickets from the club and we are all now going to the seated bit but doesn't stop us from standing and singing

The clubs allocation of tickets is for the EAST stand which is behind the posts and is all seated. The only standing area that will be open on the night will be the South Stand where the Warrington fans will be.I understand there is a reduced price for tickets bought in advance from the club.Surely it makes sense to all be together on the night to give maximum vocal backing to the team.Seems pointless standing with Wire speccies when the majority of our fans will be in the East stand.Lets all spread the word as best we can if you cant make it to the club office on Walkden road to get your tickets make sure you are in the East stand on friday night.Anybody that has been to any of our away games this season im sure will agree that the atmosphere and the backing given to the team has been fantastic.Lets make it a night to remember on Friday and show the team how proud of them we are.

So are we all getting tickets for the East Stand rather than paying on the gate and standing? I prefer standing as I like to sing as much as possible to encourage the lads but find sitting just doesn't feel right (note rather a lack of atmosphere at the Willows). However I'm prepared to sit if those who sing (you know who you are) are together.
Will we be allowed to stand in the seated East Stand or are the stewards under orders?

Aslong as we ain't obstructing anybody I don't see why we couldn't stand and nobody will stop me singing all night

If you're planning on standing in the seated area then I hope you're not in front of my mum and son who paid to sit down!!......or anyone else who wants to remain seated!!
Have a bit of respect and rememberyoure not the only Swinton fans there.......which I'm sure you will do!

Presumably if we've been allocated the East Stand and it's not a capacity crowd!!!!! then there'll be plenty of spare room for those who want to stand in the seated area to go and congregate in the "standing" seated area?????? if you know what I mean??

Maybe though who want to sit down sit nearer to the front of the stand and those who want to stand and make a lot of noice (i.e. me) stand further back.

Tess that what I mean aslong as we aren't obstructing anybody I don't see the problem we will find a way anyhow and yeah hopefully people wanting to sit down with be near the front and standers at the back I imagine it will be a 50/50 split of seated people and standing people

I picked up my tickets today and I would uge all fans to buy their tickets from the club! Our allocation for the EAST STAND is priced at £15 with a £5 concessions. These prices are only for tickets bought from the club.If you want to pay on the night it will be £18 and £8 for concessions.I was also told that there is no standing facility for away fans on the night and the stewards will direct all Swinton fans to the East stand. So the message is buy your tickets from the club and save yourself a couple of quid.

I got the same message from Mr Kidd senior(the first time Ive meant him despite my apparent membership of the inner sanctum)today when I picked my tickets up. ANYONE attempting to stand with the Warrington fans is likely to end up with us anyway! LETS ALL BE IN THE SAME PLACE.
By the way, quick pat on the back for Ryan in the office doing a great job,a nice lad and working his socks off!
(Standing by for criticism for finding something good about the club and speaking to Mr Kidd.)

Probably the most confusing thread, to what seems a logical decision.

Dont be fooled by young Ryan! hes a Salford fan and he bought my little grandaughter a Salford City Reds vest at her Christening! He took great delight in seeing my shocked face when I saw it.I think the correct phrase is "The enemy within" hahaha

We (keighley) were in the east stand.
Our seats were at the back in the middle, next to the bar

Beware the stewards, they are a bit heavy handed.
As for standing,forget it

All the best to you, have a great day as we did.
