The (Workington Town RLFC) Travellers Rest Supporters Club are holding a Race Night at the Travellers Rest, High Street, Workington, this coming Saturday (21st May)
The first race is at approximately 8.00 p.m. with proceeds going to support the Town U18 Scholarship who are currently being prepared by the Scholarship Coaching Staff for a series of matches with other Championship Clubs, which will begin in mid June.

As well as joining in the fun of a Race Night, there will also be the opportunity to meet and talk to two great names from the Rugby League world, in Garry Schofield and Lee Crooks who will also be in attendance.

Was a good night, even though I won sod all as usual. Had a good chat with both Crooks and Schofield (who was in top form as usual) Both gentlemen and a great listen. Meeting crooks was brilliant for me, one of my old non-town heroes from his time with classy Cas.
