Glad they have shown us some respect.
Now lets hope the lads do us proud and give them a good game and score a few points as well.
All we need now is the Warrington fans to turn up in numbers and make sure the Lions make a few quid from this.

No Wingfield, gutted he's not listed, and I'm sure he will be too! Must be an injury which is bad news

I read in one of the trade press that Lee WIngfield was a doubt due to a knock picked up at Whitehaven. Sympathy to him for having to miss this game.
Warrington = Fantastic squad, fantastic coach, fantastic set up off-the-field, best community programme in rugby league by far, also my birthplace, ha (bet you weren't expecting that last bit)!!!
Will be very interesting to see if the Lions can prevent what would be a remarkable hat-trick of clean sheets by the Wire. Key thing is to not let this occasion upset the momentum in the league programme - enjoy the big night out, no matter what the scale of defeat enjoy getting stuck into Oldham next week.
Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

Hopefully we will also come out of the game without a long injury list.

from a coaching point of view this is a win win situation for Swinton, (barring injuries) as if we win then it will be the GREATEST victory for any lower league club EVER, and if we get beaten it will show Ste Mac how his players react to playing an important game and losing, then use the pain as fuel to avoid complacency in the league and drive the team forward to promotion.
