I don't think its funny. I think its bloody heartbreaking. The challenge cup is pointless in its current format and all its proving is that the RFL need to plough money into teams outside superleague IF they want more that about 14 teams in the country.

swinton are unbeaten so far in the league...the challenge cup for any team outside SL is a waste of time.

gone are the days of halifax,sheffield and featherstone winning it.

Whilst such a scoreline emphasises what a poor side Swinton obviously are, I don't think anyone from Oldham can gloat when we have possibly the worst side I have seen in the last 30 years!

For those who say swinton are a 'poor side' because of that result, I think the true statement would be how poor is the quality of our league? Swinton are top, but yet they are somehow poor? So that must make everyone underneath us even worse! And for the gloating Oldham fans (although it does seem to be a minority) I dread to think what they would have done to you if our poor side put over 60 past you on your own ground!

For the sensible fans on this board, yes, agreed it isnt good for the game results like that, but to be fair there beating super league sides 60 odd nil! I dont know what tony smith is feeding them lot but there passing is perfect, they are extremely fast and extremely large. There seems to be a large gulf appearing between warrington and the majority of other teams in SL!!!!

P.S I hope that Carl Forber post was a joke
