"RFL chief executive Nigel Wood told Far And Wide: “The RFL is collaborating closely with the ARL and NZRL about the international programme for 2012"
The translation is - Australia, New Zealand and England/Great Britain are looking after themselves and stuff the rest of the world. Never mind kowtowing to the ARL and taking part in the Mickey Mouse PI All Stars game the RFL should play some REAL countries. The PI AS is just propaganda so the ARL can show the world how they allow their players i.e. Australian rep players with PI roots, to play for their heritage TEAM yet won't let them play SoO and for their heritage NATION. Another rugby league joke team.

Agreed. England should be looking to play PNG, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga before any 'All Stars' team. The ARL have publically said they are trying to 'educate' young players and their managers that playing for the likes of PNG will harm their chances of playing Origin. This is just another step - claim all the players for Australia by dangling the carrot of playing Origin, but then let them turn out in a Pacific All Stars team so they can 'honour their heritage'. And then they'll bemoan the lack of competitive Internationals!!!"RFL chief executive Nigel Wood told Far And Wide: “The RFL is collaborating closely with the ARL and NZRL about the international programme for 2012"

Typical RFL- Useless and spineless and Typical ARL who promote a Regional State Comp over Internationals. No wonder Rugby League is a small sport
