Any team fancy taking part in a pre-season tournament to be held at the Miners at the end of July and early August prior to the commencment of the mini Conference league?, speak to your committee and pm me for details. All teams receive a monetaey prize for competing.

there are normally 8 teams in the comp and its run over 3 weekends, so quarters, semis and final. Teams so far entered are bank quay bulls & hunslet warriors, leigh east are normally in it every year so thats four teams upto now.

i think the short season starts the second week in august so im guessing final will be week before

Last I heard it was going ahead but they hadn`t managed to get eight teams.

Teams involved this time are hunslet warriors, bank quay Bulls, Wigan st Cuthberts and Miners. The dates are saturday 30th july. sunday 31st July, And the final on Saturday 6th august. i will post the draw on here when it is done.

What a shame that only 4 teams have entered this great competition. The original champions of champions challenge. I know that Eccles are at Folly Lane on 30th July in the Manchester League Valentine cup, so I will be in Swinton that day. Incidentally, if you are looking for a game this Saturday Eccles are at home to Langworthy Reds, also in the Valentine cup.
