Having been let down by the summer conference recently with matches cancelled I fancy watching some traditional teams next week
I cannnot find a website for Folly Lane. I take they are still at Fraser Street as I heard they were looking to move.

Folly Lane are still at Blue Ribbon playing fields off the A666. Is that Fraser street? Phone Eccles or Folly Lane first to make sure the game is on because there is a dispute about when it should be played.

Blue Ribbon playing fields are at the bottom of Fraser Steet and that's where Folly have their two pitches. However, a lot of the local sides (Folly, Langworthy Reds and even Salford Central and Little Hulton) sometimes use the Rabbit Hills playing fields on the A666 itself as they drain much better than others in the area and since the old Langworthy club folded the pitches are not used by any single club. Literally only 2 minutes away in a car from Fraser Street so not hard to quickly switch over...

I will post news on here as I get it. I was impressed with Folly on Saturday. A well organised young side and all players were up for the game, but I would expect Eccles to be too powerful and too experienced for them. To be fair though, the Langworthy side was not as strong as the team they took to Eccles and some of their players looked like they didn,'t really want to be on the pitch. There is quite a bit of niggle as well with Eccles having put a virtual second team out last season and losing to Folly. They quite rightly currently own the bragging rights as champions of Manchester, but Eccles are determined to put that right. The last Eccles .v. Folly Lane final ended 50-0 to Eccles. It will be closer this time, but I would expect Eccles will win.

I'm not aware of any current signed on Eccles players turning out for Little Hulton at Bury. That certainly would not go down well with our committee or coach's. A large number of former Eccles players live in Little Hulton, but not many of them played for us last season. We are more or less at full strength. One banned and one working away as far as I know.

i see the Miners got the toughest draw again
- no disrespect to Cuths
In fairness to WSC they are probably the most improved team in the NWC Prem over the past couple of seasons, had a blip last season when a few players went to Oldham but come back strong

Folly v Eccles off. I believe a friendly between Eccles and Thatto Heath arranged instead for 2pm at Eccles.

A combined Eccles first and second team do indeed take on a combined Thatto Heath team in a friendly at Eccles this Saturday at 2 pm. Don't know when, or even if the Folly game will get played now. Folly have pulled out of games against Eccles in this competition twice before.
