Keighley 24 – 35 Reserves
Roughyed Reserves won 35 24 at Keighley last night with tries from Lewis Brookes (2), Jamie Dallimore(2), Dave Cookson and Alistair Williams.
Dallimore took his personal tally in the game to 19 with the addition of 5 goals and a drop goal.
Roughyeds led 28 4 at half time but Keighley came back to 28 24 before Roughyeds pulled away again towards the end.
New signing, Bruce Johnson made his debut from the bench and came through with flying colours.
Coach John Hough, put his number two Paul Ashton in charge last night and was full of praise for the job Ashy had done to command the team to victory.
Said John “For the second game in succession we lost the initiative at the beginning of the second half and that’s something we need to look at before we go to Halifax next Friday”.
Oldham team: Nield, Williams, Headman, Bradbury, Brookes, Connick, Dallimore, Langtree, Mansfield, Bland, Ward, Knight, Thompson. Subs: Hughes, Cookson, Johnson, Dean.

Ain't it funny how you think you're gonna be OK
Till you remember things are never gonna be the same again?
Ain't it crazy how you think you've got your whole life planned
Just to find that it was never ever in your hands?

Got to disagree, he didn't look match fit. A couple more games under his belt and I think he will be more affective. In my opinion the captain Jamie Knight had a superb game. He must have led the tackle count by miles and was always available in support.new signing bruce made an impact in this game, for me m.o.m by a country mile.

the whole game is available on YouTube, the link is on Keighleys forum.
Have to agree with oldham17, Johnson doesn't look match fit yet but that is no surprise he's only played two or three games.Knight and Ward were our two best performers.
