By the way we have two directors.
maybe they both should foxtrot oscar then or can chris or the other one please release the books and see how much hes taken and how much is spent "HE IS NOT THE SAVIOUR OF OLDHAM RUGBY HE IS GOING TO BE THE DESTROYER" OBTW HAVE WE BOUGHT A BOG SEAT FOR THE GENTS . I want to know how a professionally qualified accountant can allow the club to be in the states its in. We have a Concrete supplier as sponsors why hasnt CH decided to ask them for a quote on the cheap of course for some sort of terracing and then try Wickes for some plastic roofing also on the cheap of course.
no lets wait for the Chris Hamilton Fan club comments.
lets see the posts will be
1. CH brought this club from the brink
2. We wouldnt have a Club is it wasnt for CH
3. CH has alot to do running a rugby club if you can do better you have a go " THATS IF HE RELEASES THE BOOKS"
4. CH does his best (for him and not the club)
our outfit is run from a shipping container or portacabin

Chris Hamilton should go now. His control over the club as a one man bank account/band is no good for this club. If it was Politics he would have been hounded out by now and sent packing . He still is there running the show doing what he likes and by all accounts loving the one man power. Listen Chris it may be good and powerful to you to have the say over everything but the club is dying and going nowhere
agree entirely...... but .... he wont make himself redundant !!!

its akin to cameron and clegg though!!!
You certainly do get the feeling of being 'con-demned'!!
In all seriousness, you can't expect CH to make himself redundant from his own company. He's answerable to nobody and the only way he goes is when his company goes bust. I just wish he would be more up front and engage with the fans - effective communication and transparency is half the battle (and I don't include having a go at the stayaways as effective communication).

There is a need for the oldham chron to run a fans' forum page to make the disdain
there is out there for Hamilton more public.
To answer an earlier question the money from the RL (£100K to £144K) is not ring fenced
and is spent on what Hamilton wants to spend it. So he won't walk away from such a good
earner.

No one knows where the money goes do they?
and one would have a very hard time finding out retrospectively...and that is a given fact*!
*Ask Bill Quinn!

I personally do not care who runs the club, but I do think it arrogant of people to assume that they can do it better than someone who has fought against all odds and kept the club going. Nobody knows the full ins and outs of the situation other than the current board.

And therein lies the problem!

You get the RFL money on meeting criteria, such as having a Chief Executive running the club and having a commercial manager. It does not mean you give all the money to the people occupying those posts. But to get the money you do have to have the posts in your structure.

So what’s the point of spending all that money...NONE and there won’t be until you bring Whitebank up to scratch.
Unless someone has seen CH with a couple of new Range Rovers or ermine underpants or some other show of wealth how do you know he’s not saving the money from this season and maybe next to fund some terracing and other ground improvements? After which spending money on a decent team will mean something.
I’ll grant you if that’s what he’s doing he should tell you, but do you really think he’s stealing off you?
Just a thought.

As an outsider looking in I haven’t followed everything Chris Hamilton has or has not done for the Roughyeds and I am certainly don’t know all the facts but given that Whitebank isn’t up to Championship standard, even if CH spent the money going into the Roughyeds on the best players available and you won the C1 outright the RFL wouldn’t promote you.

In my opinion any spare monies are being hoarded so that CH can afford to pay the deferred consideration for Bill Quinn's shares, but that shouldn't come from pillaging the club, but looks like it will do. It's being run into the ground at present and can't carry on in its present state.
COME ON OLDHAM!!!! COME ON OLDHAM!!!!!

No I don't think he is stealing off us but when it gets to the stage where I and others like me can't be bothered to go to the big match v South Wales this weekend then the club has a problem. A big one. Anyone want to borrow a season ticket for Sunday?

good to see tho on another thread that a pub, who are roughyeds
fans, are trying to do something to raise the profile of our great club
and organizing events, or travel to and from games.
