With the England vs. Exiles match on Friday and alot of Huddersfield and Wigan players involved, I wouldnt be suprised if not all the Dual reg lads are available. I have a feeling Walker and Hughes will be recalled; they have travelled as 18th men alot this year. However Mcnally & Davies arent getting near to breaking into the first teams at the moment, so I think we may have the services of them 2. I think Rooneys absense last week was due to a knock, so i think he'll be fit for this week...
team may look something like:
Broadbent
Ballard
Blackwood
Harrison
Larkin
Rooney
Mcnally
Butler
Gleeson
James
Knowles
Fletcher
Luisi
-------
Mossop
Thackary
Davies
Campbell
with possibly Hughes & Walker?

If available easily Walker & Hughes ahead of Davies....Wigan can have him back he isnt good enough
Regarding the teamsheet above, if Hughes & Walker are available i would go for them ahead of Davies & Campbell....if we have an injury in the backs Knowles or Luisi can drop back to cover

Not sure why Mossop is on the bench I think he out peforms Gleeson whever he plays and should start. Kicking game is important on Batleys pitch with the slope so i'd agree with having Rooney and Mcnally to give us more options. If we have another forward i'd have them replace Davies. All he has done is give away silly penalties, make basic knock ons and get Sin Binned. If he doesnt improve next game send him back to wigan.

its a 17 man game now a days, doesnt matter too much which 13 start, hence why thackaray comes on from the bench as an impact player.
davies can be a liability at times, and also a genius with some of his off-loads.
hopefully with 2 proper centres now we should hold our shape more and i'm hoping it sorts the weak right side defensively for us.

I generally think that the Hooker who starts makes more of an impact than the one who comes off the bench hence why he starts. I agree with props who comes of the bench as they can do damage which is why the likes of Thackeray come off the bench and how Chris young used to for us. I don't agree with davies though, he is a liability most of the time and doesnt make any exceptional yards or amount of tackles. I dont think the centres has been a problem, I think the replacements who have been put in the position have done a good job.
We really need to up our performances from the last couple of weeks or Batley will beat us comfortably.

Raiders playing up hill in the first half. Having plenty of ball and have been close a few times. Knowles & Butler seem to be playing well. We have given 6 penalties away in 30 minutes but losing 0-6.

Lost 6-10. Get bonus point. Either discipline or Laughton cost.

Sounded like a bit of both.
