Excellent game of rugby tonight from both sides. Great going forward and no quarter given in defence. In the first half Oldhams left side was a real threat Bradbury obviously prefers the left and had good support from Ward and Cookson. In the second half these lads faded out of the game slightly and Halifax dominated going forward. Knight had another superb game in defence and seemed involved in every tackle. Bruce was better again with another game under his belt and drove Oldham forward. Neild is getting better and better at fullback and looks a threat everytime he gets the ball.
The only improvement they need is for the hooker and half backs to look up more to get a better read on whats in front of them. One's or twice there were obvious overlaps but the ball sticks in the middle or the hooker thinks he's Cunningham and tries to dive over when he hasn't yet got the power.
Good to see Joy back from injury and his a no nonesense runs from prop, hard straight and fast.
