"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

thanks. When do you think he will have them in from today?
If you ring them and order a copy they will take your number and ring you when they can be collected.

the buggers, they have closed the link!
For anyone on facebook, just watched video of fight on there via Workington
Town facebook page.
Luckily for both sides the video footage is from a long distance away, so
hopefully that won't be able to pick out players for bans.
Nice scrap though.

Holty, what did you say to Ginge as he burst out laughing?
got this answer from him, Holty really does seem a hell of a good laugh
lol. Something along the lines of ' Ginge you soft co#k, you're living proof that size isn't everything!!'. I can't be 100% sure but I think it was the teeny weeny halfback who dropped him.......spread the word!!!!!!
