It says in today's League Express that Damian has sorted out his off-field problems and wants to return to the club. It says he won't be available for the Swinton game but should be able to play in the last 7 league games.

Damian's a very good player on his day and could replace Gorton who won't play again this season, if ever!

Was good to see that Read is coming back. Just hope he carries on from where he left off last season and has sorted out his off-the-field problems. Welcome back Damian.

He was an utter liability when he played at Batley.

Ah Batley, the team where every signing is a superstar, chosing to go there to play in the lovely surroundings on that baise of a pitch as flat as a snooker table.

We've had our fair share of 'dud's HN just like every other club.

A prime example being Danny Samuels.

Wonder where he is now?

Yeah rather random, but all sorted now. We cant do much about the slope but we've got a nice little ground now, which is popular amongst fans of other Championship clubs.

I'd obviously happily change it all and play in a more or less empty football ground though given the choice.

Nick 07: Please dont think all of us this side of the pennines are as twisted as some of the comments being made. Some of us look on at the progress made by Batley with no little admiration.

Well done - seems to be based on some damn good management despite low crowds and no apparent sugar daddy. A model for other clubs possibly?

Thanks Anita, it is a good time to be a Bulldogs fan.....after god knows how many years of struggling. We are lucky to have a great board, top class coach and a team full of spirit and pride.

Please dont think likewise my rather saracstic responses were aimed at Rochdale as a whole as i've no probs with an old fashioned, tradtional RL club like ourselves, simply just a response to equally saracstic ones

We've had some good games with you in the past, and hopefully might again in the Championship next year.
