The standard isn't great but it would be great to see RL big in America just for the commentary.

I was disappointed to see the first Jamaican try stripped off for a 'forward lateral pitch.'

Throwing a dummy is 'faking a pitch,' I could listen to this all day.

I remember listening online to American commentary (by former American Footballer Tom McManus) of Souths v Leeds. Very entertaining and enthusiastic.

He came out with a couple of beauties, describing a player being hit particularly hard: "slobberknockered" :D and "de-cleated" (i.e. being knocked out of your boots).
"Journalists are meant to be neutral, for God's sake." - Stephen 'Wiggy' Jones

"Perhaps it would be better that future criticism of sports be made on the narrow basis of what is being discussed, without reference to other sports, unless those sports offer a solution to the problem in hand." - Brian 'Pigface' Moore

"What happens in rugby union? A player takes the ball, moves forward a little and gets tackled. A whole load of players then roll about on the ground. Pheep! The referee gives a penalty." - Simon Barnes
