Yeah, pity the Monteal Canadiens are not playing though, it's Vancouver Canucks, And the Bruins won in the 6th game of the play-off finals last night, yes you read it correctly the 6th game of the Play-off final, and superlegue players whinge they are playing too many games, BullSh** Boston Played 82 regular season games and 25 "post-season"/ Play-off games for a total of 107 games before WINNING the Stanley cup (Given to the NHL by Lord Stanley of Preston who was governer of the Dominion of Canada in 1888, the cup was presented in 1892, Wiki, http://en.wikipedia....iki/Stanley_Cup )

For the neutral fan this was a great series, Canucks (won the Presidents Cup (best record in regular season)) and Bruins (finished 7 overall) produced plenty of action. Canucks edged their 3 home games and the Bruins dominated in Boston. There was a bit of banter between netminders and a player banned for a late hit.
Going to the 7th game meant it all came down to one game in Vancouver.
In the end the Bruins recreated the dominance they had in Boston and Tim Thomas had another great game having a shut out.

As a Canucks fan, I was gutted

On aggregate, it was 23-8 to Boston, so justice was done.

It seems once Boston realised they would have to and would be allowed to rough it up a bit, they started to dominate. Early on they allowed themselves to be bullied.

PS: Four of the Boston Bruins are from the USA, from a squad of thirty-three. They also have more Canadians than Vancouver Canucks.

This is good because in hockey I like to cheer for the Canadian side against the Americans.

Unless it's the Blackhawks playing but then you knew that already.
Cheer up, RL is actually rather good
