Lose this and Hull FC pick up the points at Belle Vue on Sunday then it really is season over (I won't admitt it just yet). I guess this game has come at the right for us in that form counts for nothing when it comes to derby games (yes I know it's a manufactured derby) but it's one of the highlights of the season for the Bradford supporters making the annual trip over to Headingley for a game that is must win now if we are to even make a go of the playoffs with Hull FC 3 points clear.

With the game not being on Sky it would be nice to see the Western Terrace full of Red, Amber and Black.

Steve Ganson in the middle should mean plenty of talking points after the match.

Leeds by 12.

Bryn Hargreaves returns to the Bulls Squad to face Leeds Rhinos after missing the last three games with an ankle injury.

Hargreaves was injured in the victory over Salford last month and he replaces Shad Royston in the Bulls Squad. Gareth Raynor returns from a hamstring injury and Brett Kearney is named in the 19 man squad despite having to leave the field against Hull last week with a knee injury.

The Squad in full is:

Addy, Ah Van, Burgess, Crookes, Diskin, Donaldson, Elima, Jeffries, Hargreaves, Herbert, Kearney, Kopczak, Langley, Lynch, Platt, Raynor, Scruton, Sibbit, Whitehead.

To be fair,I think only Bradford fans thought of it as a glamour tie
Leeds Rhinos,STILL the only Grand Final winning club NOT to have cheated the salary cap.WCC Champions 2012.

No, it just shows the turn around in Super League, only a few years ago this was one of the first games on the listings......... In fact, I wonder when the last time a Rhinos / Bulls clash wasn't on Sky

Royston is dropped yet Ah Van keeps his place?

It's crazy isn't it in that we have Royston dropped who is our top tryscorer and has been one of the best players so far in 2011 while Ah Van who had arguably his worst display in a Bradford shirt gets in ahead of Shad?

Snap John. Ah Van has been a liability the past two weekends and really needs to show some motivation if he want's to be a Bradford player next season.

Well he was all set to come to Odsal until Potter changed his mind about going back to Australia.

I just don't understand how you can leave out Royston?

Along with sending out Briggs on loan over Herbert, I'm beginning to wonder about our esteemed leader.

If Leds play as they did against the Crusaders last week, Bradford'll win easily (but don't count on it!).

A big turnaround in performance will be the order of the day. Only a fortnight ago we were a better team on the day than Saints.

Leeds better in the backs v Bulls better in the forwards. Hmm, I'm going to have to look into my crystal ball. Ah, I can see it now ...

Lee Smith and Kevin Sinfield tire themselves out after sixty minutes of constant whingeing. A crunch tackle on each from Olivier Elima then provides something genuinely worth moaning over.

Brent Webb makes a below-the-shoulders tackle; the ref is so surprised he instinctively sends him for ten minutes in the sinbin.

Half time PA announcement: Keith Senior won't be appearing in the second half, the Rhinos have sold him to the Crusaders on Ebay.

Paddy Ah Van comes good, lands all his kicks and twice fools the cover defence ... once with his aerial catching skill and once with his complete lack of pace.

Two late tries. Bulls by ten.

Ah well. Hope springs eternal.

Bizarre that Royston is dropped. Very pleased for the guy and the way he has performed this season, he's deserved his chance in SL and this seems a little unfair. I remember when he joined Batley in 2004 having just recovered from a serious leg injury incurred whilst playing for Cronulla Shark's reserve outfit, and believe me he's absolutely transformed the quality of his game. The fella must have poured a hell of a lot of time and effort into improving himself as a player.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?
