Alan Dedicoat. He does the lottery and news on Radio 2. I wouldn't know the guy if I ran him over but he bugs the carp out of me. For no logical reason at all.

People in supermarket/bus queues who are too dumb to realise that they will be asked to pay. Don't be surprised that you're asked for money. BE PREPARED. FFS you've done it thousands of times before. And don't fookin' chat to the driver/cashier. I want to kill you.

this is supposed to be about things that annoy you "for no particular reason" but it seems to me that most of these posts involve "good reason" apart from Number 16s illogical and irrational rant.

I agree with Number 16, especially when it comes to the bus. You can forgive people asking the route if they haven't been on it before, but people who fiddle about trying to find their pass or copper up to get on is frustrating, especially if they have already been stood at the stop for 5 minutes.

Agree about the queue cripples but finding them annoying is rational in my book. I reckon what Sev was getting at was things that annoy you but for no logical reason...ie someone or something you have never even seen or met but they bug the hell out of you.

I'm with him a bit on the Jacamo ads. As though wearing smart but larger size clothes turns you into an instant f*nny magnet.

Australian Rising Intonation

I find the subject of languages intersting and accents endearing and I can perfectly understand someone who speaks with an ARI, but somehow it irritates me beyond reason

In a similar vein - the single Kiwi vowel! Are 5 distinct sounding vowels just too much for them? Makes me shout at the TV/radio.

Perpetually happy people. You know the type who are relentlessly cheerful and would still have a happy smile if you used their testicles as a trampoline.

No idea why they annoy me but they do.

Money can't buy happiness... but it can buy bacon which is close enough.
