Every Monday I buy the Rugby League Express and the Rugby League Weekly. When Town are at home the reports in the RLE are written by Martin Butcher and someone completely different (who's name I forget) writes the report for League Weekly.

However, a Haven director, Karl Connor writes the report for the RLE. The report in the League Weekly, although slightly differently worded, is almost identical in content, but written by John Nolan. Is John Nolan aka Karl Connor because both reports were leaning towards Haven even down to both reports not mentioning the incident when the ball hit the referee.

From doing a similar job in the past for two newspapers (T&S and WN) I know that they look for different reports and favouring their locality, but come on try to be a bit fairer in the content for a national paper!!!!.

Even in tonights N & S, there is no mention in Martin Morgan's report of the ball hitting the referee and no mention in any of the reports of a Haven player being put on report for an alleged biting offence.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Keith you can't have it both ways.On good Friday you were all quoting the rule book that if the ref hinders play the it should be a scrum down.Thats what happened yesterday and the ref did that and your still not happy

At least Keith has the guts to post under a name whereby everyone knows who he is could you not have thought of something more original than Norfolk enchance?. Keith is right but as usual the Haven fans who post here miss the point completely, the incident should have been mentioned in the match report the referee was right in his decision but he shouldnt have been in the way thus preventing a try
Forget Chuck and Chad I am the real legend killer

Haven4ever, or bkm, whichever you want to go by, you take great pains to tell others to read what you say, so practice what you preach. I have not said anything about it being a wrong decision or any such comment. The point which you have missed in your haste to jump in was that an incident that prevented a try being scored was not thought to be worthy of a mention in any of the Haven reporters match reports nor was the allegation of biting. Why even John Cox gave a fair assessment on the incident on the radio after the match when he fairly agreed that it would have been a certain try under the posts for Town.

For someone that questions the intellect of others you seem unable to follow even a simple line of reasoning. That really is a bit weird.
