This is a good little site for identifying fonts - http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
The iphone app that goes with it doesn't have an exact match but Prosper Open-Bold Italic and CA Aires Pro Italif seem to be close.

I didn't want to click on this thread but temptation got the better of me. I wish I had more willpower.

It's likely that they have had the font created and if so, it won't have a name. As far as I am aware, it's not widely used apart from the font in the logo. (unless someone else has spotted it)

Its used in their promotional poster, I'm putting together posters for my team, and wanted it all to match up.

For their promotional material?
eg : http://www.thevideoa...02/rfl_logo.jpg
Looks like it was designed for them.
You might have to go with a close match on style, but nick the colourways.

Send them an email, I've found the marketing dept at the RFL to be very helpful when I've needed stuff like club and sponsors logos, they might be able to point you in the right direction.
