I thought we might struggle with some of our bigger forwards injured but up stepped Mr Armistead , how many times did he break the first tackle and dominate the second? superb!

Olstrum wasn't far behind , he doesn't look overly big but doesn't half took some stopping. Great allround performance and good to see that the defence wasn't leeky like it has been.

One defeat and were not a happy camp if 1 defeat from 8 is not a happy camp after starting on minus 9 then ill settle for that
.any haven can tell you that defeat has been coming for the last 3 games. Just like swinton fans will tell you the same both haven and swinton have been scrapping results of late and a defeat was coming for both teams.that's not to take anything away from towns win as it seems they played very well and didn't just beat them they hammered them.still a long way to go before final places are decided and it is too early for any teams fans to get carried away on the back of one result.cougars fans seem to have forgot 4 dire performances with a big win against a very poor gateshead side.rochdale fans say that they were in control yesterday until they went off the game plan.As for us a very bad day at the office in a game that we should have had down as a win meaning we have to make up for it at say swinton or cougars away.one thing for sure with 7 points between the top 6 any team could still finish first never mind 2nd

well something i said after the derby was proved right yesterday, that whitehaven are heavily reliant on dorans all round play. He went off injured yesterday and they fell to pieces. they need to hope the injury isnt a bad one or they could be in trouble.

If i were you i would get to the docs and get that nasty dose of verbal bulls*** sorted. We were beaten because a number of players did not perform not because Doran was injured. Fact is we played some good stuff while he was off the pitch.

you got twenty points and with him and his offloading and genral creative play on all the game, you could have pushed them close. he is a very good player but sadly for your team you rely heavily on him and if he is now out injured its not good for haven. if you played some good stuff when he was off just think of what could have happened with a fit doran on the pitch. point proved!!!

Thought you would have been watching Town yesterday pity you didn't introduce yourself at Oldham we would have bought you a drink!! Although with that summing up that wasn't how I saw the game

i wasnt at the town game as i was away and certainly wasn't at oldham fella i'm just going off match reports and what i was told. you have to admit they aren't the same team without doran and yesterday proved that. yes good win for town and as your ex boss said we are the best team the lions have played yet so i'm happy just gutted to miss it.
